Message by the Principal

Dear Students,

Welcome to the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (popularly called IARE)!

You are entering a dynamic era where engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), and emerging technologies are shaping the future. Our faculty is committed to equipping you with the knowledge, skills, and innovative mindset needed to thrive in this evolving landscape.

To ensure quality education, we follow the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach, which focuses on achieving well-defined Programme Outcomes (POs) and Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs). This method ensures that you gain technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and professional competencies aligned with industry needs. Principal’s Profile

Dr L V Narasimha Prasad, completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, Visakhapatnam (Currently, GITAM Deemed to be University), M.Tech from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra (Deemed to be University), and Ph.D from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. Having an excellent academic track throughout, he came into the academics 31 years ago with choice and passion after stint of 2 years in the industry.

Prior to joining IARE as the Principal in 2014, served in the capacity of Director in Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad till 2013, for 8 years and as head of the department of Computer Science and Engineering, at Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College, Tirupati for 12 years. He was the Placement and Training Officer at both the colleges for more than 22 years.

He has widely published 29 journal articles in reputed international journals, has presented 27 conference papers around the globe, and is a reviewer for international journals and publishing houses. As a research supervisor, 3 research scholars are pursuing their Ph.D under his guidance. He is also the Principal Investigator for several research projects under AICTE, UGC and DST. Apart from these, he has been the resource person to many workshops, conferences and faculty development programmes and conducted a number of conferences, workshops and pedagogic training programmes. He has been one of the members of Editorial and Review committee for more than 10 journals vary from national to international and has been holding various posts in professional bodies.
