A Brief History

The Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Hyderabad, popularly called IARE, founded by the Maruthi Educational Society, by a devoted group of eminent professional and industrialists having a long and outstanding experience in educational system with a mission ‘Education for Liberation’. It started its academic activities in 1994 as a Institute for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, New Delhi offering certification program in aircraft maintenance engineering. To cover a wide field of aviation, in the year 2000 B.Tech program in Aeronautical Engineering was started and has gradually transformed itself into an integrated multi-disciplinary technological institute and functioning as autonomous institute since 2016.

The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi since its first day of establishment. The institute and its programs offered are accredited by NAAC with A++ grade and National Board of Accreditation (NBA), a permanent Signatory of Washington Accord under tier-1 respectively.

The institute is located at Dundigal, adjacent to Nehru Outer Ring Road (ORR) off Medak - Narsapur junction exit - 5, making it accessible to several important centers in and around the city. With its quiet and serene setting, it offers students an ideal environment to pursue their academic studies.

With its excellent infrastructure and technological equipment, IARE is the leading brand of education in south India, as well consistently listed in Top 200 of India rankings under engineering category by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Education, Govt of India.
