The department's vision is pursued with regards to the Institute’s vision, holistic dimensions and their objectives via four value-creation chains:

The Department is dedicated to providing leading-edge skills and knowledge that align with the latest developments in the emerging fields of Data Science. The department emphasizes continuous learning and adaptability, ensuring that graduates remain proficient in machine learning, big data analytics, cloud computing, and intelligent systems. The department strives for technical excellence by nurturing students as innovative thinkers and effective problem solvers for solving complex real-world challenges.

- Empowering students for socially progressive
The program is designed to transform students into self-motivated, confident, and ethically grounded professionals capable of leading the future of data-driven decision-making. Beyond technical expertise, students are empowered with critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills, preparing them to excel in diverse professional roles and make meaningful contributions to society and industry alike. MISSION

The mission of the data science program is to produce graduates who are creative and have the mathematical, data analytics, programming, critical thinking, leadership, and decision-making skills, whilst being aware of the social and ethical aspects of their work.

Responsibly approaching the Institute’s role in the society and the significance of the created added-value, and taking into consideration the needs of stakeholders, the following missions are stipulated:

M1: Exceptional education in their profession
This mission component emphasizes establishing a rigorous academic base that imparts students with the essential theoretical and practical skills needed in the evolving field of data science. It emphasizes core mathematical and data science competencies for machine learning, data modelling, and analytics. Through data analytics, students develop the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights. The program also prepares students to implement scalable solutions, handle large datasets, and build end-to-end data-driven applications.

M2: Building research, leadership, and decision-making skills
Students are trained to conduct inquiry-driven and innovative research that enables them to analyze complex problems and develop data-driven solutions, while also cultivating effective leadership through collaborative learning, multidisciplinary projects. these competencies prepare them to contribute meaningfully, adapt to evolving global demands, and lead impactful solutions in real-world contexts.

M3: Empowering Ethical and Entrepreneurial Leaders
The department intent to focuses on cultivating data science professionals who combine ethical integrity with an entrepreneurial mindset and prepares graduates to create responsible, impactful, and sustainable data-driven solutions that benefit society.
