The mission statement reflects the self-concept of IARE, standards of teaching and provides orientation for all stakeholders.
The following principles describes in a transparent way and based on the mission statement, the teaching ideals IARE stands for.
1. An extensive and exceptional education to excel in their profession.
The IARE values (seven holistic dimensions) are always taken into consideration in the further development of study programs and their implementation. In particular the aspirations for our student community and equal opportunities are realized in all areas of research and teaching. IARE also regards it as its responsibility to prepare the students for professional practice and research. In addition to technical content the use of different media and didactic options promotes social, societal competencies such as communication skills, team work, willingness to discuss, social interest, self-reflection and personal initiatives.
2. Able to face the technically complex world with creative leadership qualities.
IARE always impart timely, future oriented and sustainable content. As a practice it focuses on applied research. The lectures incorporate the current findings from research and development as well as the incoming demands and advise from professional practice into the development of study programs. As a central component of education and professional development, regional and global opportunities, job market requirements and potential future topics are integrated into the educational approach. This way the IARE ensures and continues to a popular place to study, work and live for a long time to come. Students are encouraged and trained to be able to operate in professional practice both nationally and internationally.
